What is AIAPGET 2024?

AIAPGET Exam is All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test. This examination is the gateway for admission to postgraduate courses like Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy. AIAPGET is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) fully processed under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. It is a computer-based test that will consist of 120 questions in MCQ form. The duration of the test will be of 2 hours. Candidates who will qualify for the test with minimum criteria can take admission to MS, MDor PG diploma courses in the above-mentioned streams. Admission will be given through the round of counselling which is conducted by the Ayush admission central counselling committee.

AIAPGET Notification

Some new changes are done this year for  AIAPGET 2024 that are -

• Increased application fee i.e. INR 2700 for a general candidate, INR 2,450 for EWS and SC/ST/OBC /transgender and INR 1800.
  
• The exam will be in two shifts morning and evening.
  
• Two cities have been added Kozhikode and Kannur. Noida now comes under Delhi /NCR. The test centres have been increased from 82 to 83.
  
• The size of the document has been changed photograph - 10kb to 200kb, specification for signature - 4kb to 30kb

AIAPGET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

AIAPGET Brochure has been released on the official website of AIAPGET. The brochure has also information about the eligibility criteria of this exam. • Applicants must eb carrying BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/Graded BHMS degree
  
• Candidates with BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS provisional pass certificate (recognized as per IMCC 1970/HCC 1973 Act) can also apply for AIAPGET 2024.
  
• Applicants having permanent or provisional registration for the degree mentioned above should be issued by the CCIM/CCH/state board/universities/deemed universities.
  
• Must have completed an internship of one year or likely to complete on or before 31st December 2024.
  
• There is no maximum age for applying.
  
• NTA has not mentioned any number of attempts to clear AIAPGET, thus a candidate can attempt the paper as many times as one wants.
  

Note: Candidates who are found ineligible for AIAPGET 2024 will not be permitted to sit for the exam and their admission will be canceled immediately at any stage of the process.

Step 1:Filling the application form through registration

• Go to the official website - Click Here
• Then click on “Register”.
  
• Then click “New Registration” and read the instructions carefully.
• Mark the checkbox given at the end of the page.
• Then click on “Proceed to apply online”.
• First, fill in all the basic details like -:
• 1st Registration Page- Fill in the basic information like -

1. Your full name
2. Mother’s Name
3. Father’s Name
4. Date of Birth
5. Your e-mail address and mobile number

• 2nd: Fill in the complete application form like education, marks and other details.
• 3rd: Choose three exam centres.
• Recheck your information and then submit it.
• Note down your application number.
• Upload scanned copy of photograph and signature.

Last step: Payment of application fee

• Select the mode of payment (credit/debit/net banking).
  
• Pay for AIAPGET 2024 application fee.

AIAPGET 2024 Exam Pattern in Detail

General:

• AIAPGET 2024 will be in two shifts - morning and evening shifts. AIAPGET 2024 morning shift will be for the Ayurveda course between 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon, while the evening shift for Homeopathy, Siddha and Unani courses are between 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
  
• The candidate will be allotted a separate computer in the examination hall.
• The candidate will be provided with a pencil and paper and a sheet for rough work at the examination hall.
• You will get 120 minutes to solve all the questions.

AIAPGET Question Paper Pattern:

• The questions will be in MCQs.
  
• Each question would have four responses and you have to select the right answer.
• Each question would have four response options.
• There will be 120 questions that you have to solve.

AIAPGET Marking Scheme:

• Four marks will be given for every correct answer.
  
• Minus one will be not deducted or offered for unattempted questions.
• The marking will be based on -

Total marks scored by a candidate = (4 x Total number of correct answers) – Total number of incorrect answers.

AIAPGET Admit Card 2024

NTA has released AIAPGET admit card 2024 for the applicants who had successfully applied for the AIAPGET exam. You can download the amidst card through the link mentioned in this section and also follow the steps we have written below. AIAPGET 2024 is scheduled for 18th September 2024. The admit card will give you information like name, date of birth, date and timing, name of the centre and other important details.
