1) Pre Matric Scholarship for SC Students (Class 9th and 10th)

Eligibility Criteria for Pre Metric Scholarship for SC Students are as below:

• SC students studying in class 9th to 10th from a recognized government school.
• Annual Income should be less than 2 lakh.
• Should not be a recipient of any other government scholarships.

Rewards: INR 150 per month for day scholars and INR 350 per month for hostellers for 10 months. Books and Ad Hoc Day scholar –INR 750 PA Hosteller-1000 PA Additional disability allowance.

Deadline: The last date is to apply for this scholarship on 31st August.

2) ST Scholarship Assam

It Is offered by the Department of Welfare of Plains Backward Classes & Tribes Government of Assam for 1st to 10th class students to complete their education.

Eligibility Criteria:

• ST Students studying in class 1 to10th from a recognized government school.
• Annual Income should be less than 50k.
• Must be domiciled in Assam state.

Rewards: INR 1200 per annum

Last Date: Apply before 31st August.

3) Prime Minister Scholarship for RPF/ RPFS

This scheme is offered under Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme. The scholarship is offered by the Ministry of Railway, Government of India for the wards/ widows of ex RPF/ RPSF personnel. The selected candidates will receive a scholarship of up to INR 2,250 per month. Candidates who are pursuing UG and PG courses in computers, pharmacy, education, etc. can apply for this scheme. Apply through NSP before 15th December 2025.

4) Ishan Uday Scholarship for NER

Ishan Uday is launched by University Grants Commission for the students of the Northern Eastern Region. A total of thousand of fresh scholarships are offered every year with an aim to support the education of deserving students. The scholarship will be given to the students who are pursuing general degrees, courses including medical and paramedical courses. Selected students will be given a monthly amount of INR 7800 per month. The selection of this scholarship will be done on the basis of the NER population and a 3% reservation will be given for the students with disabilities.

Students can apply through the NSP portal before 15th Nov.

5) Means Cum Merit Scholarship

Means Cum Merit Scholarship Eligibility Criteria: Students doing a general degree and master's degree courses in science, commerce, and arts stream. They must have secured at least 60% marks in the last qualifying examination. Family annual income should not be less than 2.50 lakh PA.

Rewards: INR 1000 per month is to be paid as one-time assistance every year.

6) Combined Merit Scholarship

Combined Merit Scholarship Eligibility Criteria: Students doing a general degree and master's degree courses in science, commerce, and arts stream and must have secured at least 60% marks in the last qualifying examination will be eligible to get the scholarship.

7) Assam Scholarship for Post Graduate Research

• Students who are pursuing M.Phil/ Ph.D./ PG.LLM/ Post doctoral-level research from a recognized university.
