About DNH Scholarship 2021-22
Dadra and Nagar Haveli Scholarship (DNH) are offered by Government of India The scholarship is for minority students who are pursuing Diploma, Post Diploma, Graduation and Post Graduation courses. The scholarship works well for the students who are economically weak. The rewards emphasis 100% remuneration fees for BPL girls and 50% fees for poverty line girl students.
Students can apply through the national scholarship portal through which eligible students can apply. It is a platform for students who are willing to pursue higher education. They can apply online and can fulfil their dreams of education. This is a scheme that runs under the National E-governance plan through which many deserving students are getting benefits under different state scholarships.
Dadra and Nagar Haveli Scholarship 2021 Eligibility
Eligible candidate can be registered through NMMS rule through NMMS Examination. To apply one must show parental annual income certificate from a relevant authority.
The exam fee is INR 100 (for gen category) and INR 70 for SC/ST category.
Dadra and Nagar Haveli Scholarship 2021 Scheme of Scholarship
The scholarship will be given on the basis of examination which is divided into two parts:
- Mental Ability Test (MAT)- It consists of multiple-choice questions testing verbal & non-verbal met cognitive abilities like reasoning & critical thinking based on analogy, classification Numerical series, pattern, perception etc.
- Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)- It consists of 90 multiple choice questions covering science, mathematics and social sciences from subjects in class VII and VIII.
- Duration of the test – Each test will be of 90 minutes. Children with a disability will be given extra time.
- Students must pass both the test with a minimum of 40% marks. The marks are 32% for the reserved category.
- The parental income of students should not be more than INR 1.50 lakh P/A.
- Candidates must have scored a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent in Class VIII examination.
- There will be 5% marks relaxation for SC/ST.
DNH Scholarship 2021 Application Process
- Visit the official website of the department www.schoalrships.gov.in.
- Go to the link Dadra & Nagar Haveli National Scholarship Portal and click it.
- Now click ‘Apply’ section and start filling your application form as per documents /certificate.
- Attach scanned documents.
- After filling it take out the printout for further use.
