Arvindbhai Patel Institute of Environmental Design (APIED or IED) is located in Vidyanagar, Anand, Gujarat. It was established in the year 1980. The college is approved by All India Council of Technical Education and Council of Architecture, New Delhi and affiliated to Sardar Patel University.

APIED consists of three schools namely D.C. Patel School of Architecture which offer Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch), H.M. Patel School of Interior Design offers Bachelor of Interior Design and Master of Interior Design and the last is Bhaikaka Center for Human Settlements which offers Master of Urban Planning course.

APIED College Courses & their Fee Structure

The campus of APIED is sprawling across 2.5 acres of Land. It has best physical infrastructure which provides the all major facilities for its students such as well equipped labs and workshops with latest kind of equipment, well-stocked library with a good collection of books, computer lab, wifi connectivity, medical facility, hostel, seminar hall, lecture hall, fully furnished classrooms and others.

APIED offers the B.Arch course, the duration of the course is 5 years. To be eligible for this course, students need to complete 10+2 in any stream with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the compulsory subjects from a recognized board and obtained a minimum 50% marks. Students must have appeared in the National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA). Admission will be done on the basis of marks obtained in NATA followed by University Counseling. There are 20% seats of the total seats are reserved for the Management Quota.

The Admission to Bachelor in Interior Design, students need to complete 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum of 40% marks. Students will have to appear in Entrance Test i.e. school of Interior Design Entrance Test (SIDET) conducted by University. Admission will be given on the basis of the score obtained in SIDET. 20% of seats reserved for the management quota seats.

• For admission to Master course in Interior Design, The total seats are 20. Students must have completed B.Arch/ Diploma in Architecture/ BID with 6 month training or 4 year BID with minimum 50% aggregate marks from recognized University. Students will have to appear for Personal Interview conducted by University. Admission will be done on the basis of performance in personal interview and marks obtained in qualifying examination.
• For admission to M.Plan, must have done B.Arch/ BE In civil Engineering/ B.Plan or any other equivalent qualification in relevant discipline from recognized University with minimum 50% marks. Students will be required to appear in Entrance Test conducted by University namely Post Graduate Entrance Test (PET). Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in entrance exam and marks obtained in qualifying examination.
