Aryabhatta Knowledge University was established by the Government of Bihar. This university was formed for the development and management of educational infrastructure in the field of technical, medical, management and allied professional education of the state. As Bihar lacks in quality education, the purpose of the university is to higher the education level and give a standard environment in terms of learning and growing by knowledge. Total 95 colleges are affiliated under this university. This consist of 27 engineering college, 10 medical colleges, 28 educational colleges, 14 community college, 8 nursing and 8 vocational colleges.

Aryabhatta Knowledge University Admission Process 2022
AKU conducts its own entrance examination and other entrance examination depending on the course. The admission will be done purely on the basis of merit of the entrance exam and the previous qualifying examination. Those students who are willing to take admission in the college under AKU must appear in person before the authority/committee. For every admission, the approval is given by the University Principal. Interested students can apply in the month of June to July every year.

Admission to UG course at Aryabhatta Knowledge University
The admission to UG courses varies from course to course. For admission to B.Tech course in AKU, the candidate has to sit for BCECEB(Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board). Further candidates have to pass 10+2 from a recognized board.
On the other hand, for the admission in medical courses like MBBS, B.M.S, B.D.S and B.A.M.S students need to qualify NEET. Candidates must have completed their plus two securing minimum 55% marks with biology as a subject.
AKU Patna PhD Admission
The application will be reviewed and selected applicants will be called for Pre-PhD. The test will be conducted by the university itself. Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of their marks obtained in the entrance test. After that, they will be selected for the interview rounds. Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of entrance test marks and qualifying examination.

AKU B.Sc. Nursing admission is on the basis of academic score of class 12th. You should have biology as a subject in 12th. Make sure you meet the percentage criteria to come in the merit list.
