Baba Farid College of Engineering and Technology is referred to as BFCET, located in Bathinda, Punjab. It has been established in the year 2008 under the aegis of Baba Farid Vidyak Society. It is approved by AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.
BFCET campus is spread over an area of 50 acres of green lush land. There are all modern facilities inside the college campus. It has a well-stocked library with 10,000 books and 6000 National and International Journals, Smarts classroom with modern teaching aids, Seminars and Conference hall, Laboratories and workshops, hostel, mess, transport facility, Sports facility, Transportation Facility and many other facilities are available.
It imparts the quality education in the field of engineering discipline. The offered courses are B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, B.Tech Lateral, M.Tech in Computer Science and Technology and Electronics and Communication Engineering.
The training and placement interact with industries and conducts regular personality development programs. Students have to go through soft skills training programmes like

For B.Tech admission, Students must have completed 10+2 in science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from recognized Board. Students must have valid score in JEE Main. Admission will be done through counseling based on the score obtained in JEE Main. 33% seats will be filled by the management quota. Meritorious students can take direct admission through management quota.
For M.Tech in Computer Science and Technology, students must have completed B.Tech or BE in Computer Science and Engineering/ Computer Technology/ MCA/ M.SC in Computer Science/ Information Technology or any other equivalent qualification in relevant discipline from recognized University.
For M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Students must have completed B.Tech or BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent qualification in relevant discipline from recognized University.

The fee structure of BFCET is nominal from other colleges. Students can submit the fee in parts or annually as according to their convenience.
