• Bharat Institute of Technology (BIT) is a Private aided Engineering college, located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. It was established in the year 2001 and affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. It is approved by AICTE, PCI, MHFW and MHRD, New Delhi.

• BIT, Meerut offers the courses in various disciplines such as Engineering, Computer Application, Management, and Pharmacy. The offered courses are B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology etc, MBA, BCA, MCA, M.Pharm, B.Pharm, MCA Lateral, B.Tech Lateral, M.Tech in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering.

• The campus of BIT Meerut is well constructed and has all major facilities inside the college campus. There are a separate hostel for boys and girls, well-equipped labs and workshops, library with a large number of Books, Mess and Cafeteria, Lecture Hall, Medical Center, Computer Lab, Internet connectivity, Sports etc.

• The college has well experienced and well-qualified faculty members in every department. They help the students to gain the theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge in their field.

• Every year college conducts Abhivyakti which is the annual Techno Cultural Festival of BIT Meerut.

• It has a CADC department which works on the training and placement activities and provides the job opportunities to students in the top reputed organization. It also encourages the students to take up Internship and training programs. It conducts various activities for the overall development of students by conducting Soft skill training and focuses on Communication Skills, Presentation Skills, Personality Development, Interpersonal Skills, and Confidence Building etc.  Pre-placement for the Third year and fourth year students which focuses on the Interview skills, GD, Work Ethic etc

• The placement cell of BIT has a well-dedicated team of highly qualified faculty. It interacts with the companies from all over India and invites them for campus placement. Many Companies visit the college for campus placements such as Collabera, Ashok Leyland, Genpact, Xor Labs, Wipro, Infosys, RDP telecom, HP, IBM, Syntel and many more top-notch companies.

• Students can take admission to B.Tech course on the basis of score obtained in UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination). Students with valid JEE main score can also apply. Vacant seats will be filled by the college on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 examination.

• Admission to BBA, B.Pharm, and BCA will be done on the merit basis of qualifying examination. For B.Pharm, students must have completed 10+2 in science stream from recognized Board. For BBA and BCA, must have done 10+2 in any discipline from recognized Board.

• For MBA admission, students must be graduated in any discipline and secured minimum 50% marks from recognized University and must have valid score in CAT/ MAT/ UPSEE.

• M.Tech admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in GATE.

• For MCA admission, students must have studied Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level. Admission will be done on the basis of performance in UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam).

• For B.Pharm Lateral, Students must have completed Diploma in Pharmacy from recognized University.

• B. Tech lateral must have a diploma in Engineering or B.Sc with Mathematics from recognized University.

• The fee structure of BIT Meerut is quite feasible as a comparison to other private Engineering Colleges. The fee structure changes every year as per the norms of UPTU.

• There is fee concession for those students who have domicile of Uttar Pradesh. The fee is a little high for the outside students.

• It provides the scholarship facilities from UPTU which might wave off the fees of college up to 50% or above.

• Students have to pay separately for the Hostel and Mess.
