Dr. Patangrao Kadam established Bharati Vidyapeeth in 1964 at Pune. The mission, which Bharati Vidyapeeth has defined for itself is to bring about intellectual awakening of people through the spread of education and to prepare human resources needed for all-round development, particularly economy of the country. During the last 50 years or so, Bharati Vidyapeeth has made astonishing strides in the field of education, particularly in higher and professional education. At present, it conducts more than 184 educational units of various kinds, right from pre-primary schools to postgraduate institutions. They include 67 Colleges and Institutes of different disciplines.

In recognition of the academic excellence which the institutions of the Bharati Vidyapeeth have and in view of the potential for further growth they have, the Government of India on the recommendation of the University Grants Commission granted (under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956), the status of deemed to be University to the Institutions of Bharati Vidyapeeth on 26th April, 1996.Our approach allows all deserving candidates to participate in our courses. Each of these courses are designed for producing talented, skilled & thinking manpower that can empathize, is aware of the relevance of society - ecology & inclusive growth. This is where future entrepreneurs, drivers of change & community transformation agents get trained for the larger cause of business. Amplify DITM boasts of a world class infrastructure at BVDU campus. A 260 + acre dedicated Amplify corporate varsity campus is coming up near Hinjewadi in Pune that shall have the necessary ecosystem for Center Of Excellences, Professional Organizations & Foundations, Progressive companies to co-exist along side the Amplify corporate varsity premises. At BVDU - Amplify DITM, students are increasingly inspired to take up "Self Driven Learning System" in addition to exploring the subject through "Effectual reasoning" methods where all necessary resources are provided and goals are allowed to emerge as the students delve more into it. SAP, Microsoft India, Microsoft Dynamics, PMI India have signed up with Amplify for academic & professional consulting engagements. Amplify's corporate consulting group provides the necessary industry integration to the entire academic initiatives. We have been extending our consulting & training services to Fortune 500 organizations including Siemens, HP, HSBC GLT, Capgemini, Oracle across UK, China and India. Such inputs are also fed into the mainstream curriculum by our highly competent faculty. The proposed online learning & CBT based training approach allows a student to prepare for the subject well before the sessions. The CBT's will be the first of its kind in the Undergraduate & Post Graduate programs in India. Amplify Mindware has overseas partnerships in Australia, Ireland, UK and China where in it delivers consulting & training programs to Universities, Locally based Organizations & Multinational companies.
