Bhilai Institute of Technology (BIT) is a private Engineering college, located in Bhilai, Chattisgarh and established in the year 1986. The college is approved by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi and affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University.
The college imparts the quality education in the field of Engineering, Management and Computer Application. The offered courses are B.E in Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, MCA, MBA, M.Tech in Computer Network Engineering, Environmental Science and Technology, Information Security, Structural Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering etc, B.E Lateral Entry.
The campus of BIT Bhilai has an environment-friendly campus which is spread over an area of 62 hectares of land. There is well-equipped Infrastructure with best major facilities inside the college campus. It has well-computerized library having 73,000 books and subscribes to 1750 journals and periodicals, it also has more than 900 educational CDs and 20 sets of encyclopedia.

Bhilai Institute of Technology Admission 2021
For admission to B.E in various disciplines, students must pass 10+2 in science stream with PCM subjects from recognized board. Students must have valid score in JEE Main. Students without a valid score in JEE Main will have to appear in Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test (CGPET) conducted by CPEB (by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board). Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in JEE Main/ CGPET.
M.Tech admission, students must hold B.Tech or BE degree in Engineering discipline or any other equivalent qualification in relevant discipline from recognized University. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in GATE.
For admission to MCA, students must have completed graduation in any discipline with Mathematics as the main subject from recognized University. Students will have to appear in Pre-MCA Test conducted by CGVYPAM. They can also appear for NIMET. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in Pre MCA Test and NIMET.
To take admission to MBA program, students must have completed graduation with minimum 50% marks from recognized University. Students must have valid score in MAT. Admission will be done on the merit basis of qualifying examination and MAT.

The Fee structure of BIT for every course is different.
The total fee for B.Tech course is Rs. 274,900 , MBA Rs. 131,280, M.Tech Rs. 128,700 and MCA 181,350.
The fee structure is feasible and it is regulated by DTE. The hostel fee includes the mess fee, hostel charge, caution money etc.
There is relaxation in the fees of SC/ST category students and their fees are much low than the general category students. College also provides the scholarship to students on the basis of their academic performance.
