B.M.S. College of Engineering is commonly referred as BMSCE and it is an autonomous Institute, located in Bangalore, Karnataka. It has been established in the year 1946 under the aegis of BMS Educational Trust. It is mainly a Private Co-Educational Institute but it is also funded by Government of Karanataka. It is approved by AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. It is accredited by NAAC and NBA. The college was ranked 18th for engineering by India Today in 2021 and 45 by Outlook India in 2021. It has also been ranked no.67 by NIRF in 2021.
It imparts the professional education in the field of Engineering, Management, Architecture and Computer Application. The offered courses are MBA, BE in 11 disciplines namely Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Medical Electronic, Information Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication etc, B.Arch, M.Tech in Power Electronics, machine design, Environmental Engineering, Digital communication engineering, biochemical engineering etc, MCA, M.Arch and PH.D.
The campus of college is spread over an area of green lush land. It has 8 main buildings which has all required facilities for the student such as well equipped labs, workshops, well stocked library, medical facility, auditorium, fully furnished seminar hall, indoor and outdoor sports, computer centre, internet facility and other facilities are available.
It has an exclusive training and placement cell to facilitate the on campus placement opportunities to students. The cell provides the pre placement training to students so that they can face the interview confidently and get the job opportunities as per their choice. The placement centre conducts the 4 day training in soft skills such as personality Development, Communication Skills, Interview Skills, Aptitude Tests etc.

B.M.S. College of Engineering (BMSCE), Bangalore Admission
For B.Tech admission, 10+2 in science stream with PCM subjects from recognized board with minimum 50% marks. Admission will be done through the counseling based on the score obtained in Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Undergraduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET).
Admission to B.Arch will be done on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination and score obtained in NATA.
For MBA, student must be graduated in any stream with minimum 50% marks in qualifying examination. For MCA, graduation with mathematics as main subject at 10+2 or graduation level. For admission students have to appear in KMAT (Karnataka Management Aptitude Test). Admission will be done on the basis of KMAT score.
For M.Tech and M.Arch, students have to appear in Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET). Admission will be given on the basis of PGCET score.
Students with valid GATE score not need to appear in PGCET.
Admission to Ph.D, must have done master degree with aggregate marks of 55% marks from recognized University. Admission will be done on the basis of entrance test conducted by college.
