Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology is commonly known as CIPET, it its a Government institute which is located in Hajipur, Bihar. The institute has been established in the year 1994. It is approved by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi.
It imparts the education in the field of Plastics Engineering and Technology. The offered courses are B.Tech in Plastics Engineering, Diploma in Plastics Technology, Plastics Mold Technology, Post Graduate Diploma in Plastic Processing and Testing.
It has world Class Infrastructure and having all the necessary facilities inside the college campus. There are numerous classrooms, well equipped auditorium, Video Conference Hall, well equipped labs and workshops with latest type of equipments, computer lab, wifi connectivity, well stocked library with rich collection of books, journals etc, medical facility, hostel, mess, cafeteria, safety and security, Conference Hall and other facilities are available.

To get admission to B.Tech course, must have done 10+2 in science stream with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects from recognized board. They will be required to appear in JEE Main. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in JEE Main.
Students who have appeared in 10+2 examination are also eligible to apply for this course.
For admission to Diploma courses, students must have completed high school examination with English, Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects from recognized board.
To be eligible for post graduate courses, students must have completed graduation.
