CDAC, Noida is formerly known as ER & DCRI, Noida – a Main working unit of C-DAC. CDAC College, Noida, Uttar Pradesh was established in 1988 and since then the research centre has been working in application-oriented design and development of various customer requirements It is a scientific society of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Government of India carrying out research and development in IT and Electronics. The different research area of C-DAC includes computing, grid and cloud multilingual computing, professional electronics and much more. The academic cell focuses on improving the quality of professionals in advance software areas. The academic wing i.e. courses in the institution are affiliated to GGSIP University in New Delhi.

CDAC Noida Courses and their Fees Structure Detail
CDAC Noida Admission 2021-2021
Admission to different courses is done on the basis of CDC'S Computerized Common Admission Test (C-CAT). Every year-CAT is usually conducted in June (for August admission) and December (for February admission).

About CTAT
C-CAT has three sections as (Section A, Section B and Section C) of one-hour duration each. Depending on the category of courses selected by the candidate he/she has to appear for either one teat paper or two test papers (Section A and Section B and Section C). The medium of C-CTAT is English.
Note – Candidates can only appear for specific sections in C-CAT as per the category of the courses opted by him/her at the time of filling the online application form.
Every section in C-CAT will have 50 objective types of questions. Every question will have four choices as possible answers of which only one is correct. There will be +3 (plus three) marks for each correct answer and -1 for a wrong answer and 0 marks for the unattempted question. Maximum marks candidates can obtain in any one of the section of C-CAT are 150.

How To Apply For C-CAT
For the candidates who opt for the online application to use their own laptops for C-CAT the examination fee for the category, I (Section A) is Rs 1100, Category II (Sections A, B, C) id INR 1550. A computer usage charge is INR 250 which will be added to the fee if the candidates opt in the online application to use the computer of the C-CAT centre. Fees once paid will not be refunded. The fees details are mentioned below.

After filling the application online C-CAT application form, the examination fee is to be paid online through the ‘Make Payment’ step on the main menu of the online application No cash or cheque or DD for the payment of C-CAT examination fee.
Online: The examination fee can be paid using credit/debit through the payment gateway that will be opened upon clicking the “online” option of make payment step. The students are advised to follow the steps/instructions given on the payment gateway and also print/keep the transaction details for their records.
To obtained the examination fees at C-DAC the ‘Make Payment’ next step on the main menu of the online application will be tick marked and the status of payment will be updated on the “ Status Check” menu. The pdf of the application form can be obtained by clicking the View/Print application form’ on the main menu will now have the transaction details of the payment.

Common Eligibility Criteria for all the PG courses at CDAC, Noida
- Graduate in Engineering or equivalent (Eg BR/B.Tech/4 years B.Sc Eng/AMIE/DoEACC B level)in IT /Computer Science /Electronics /Telecommunications /Electrical /Instrumentation.
OR
- Postgraduate degree in Engineering Sciences with a corresponding basic degree (e.g M.Sc in Computer Science, IT Electronics.

There are no age criteria for admission to PG Diploma Courses. Candidates who have been appearing for the final examination of their qualifying degree in 2021 will also be considered for admission to the above courses. Candidates can apply for August batch after clearing C-DAC’s admission test of June.
CDAC Noida MCA Admission and Eligibility Criteria
- Admission is done through valid score CET exam.
- Candidates must possess bachelors degree of a recognized university in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate and must also have passed in Mathematics and English subjects.
- Or candidates can be BCA/BIT/BIS of a recognized University of at least their year duration with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology or a qualification recognized as an equivalent degree with at least 50% marks.
- The entrance test will be held for admission in MCA programmes. Dates will be notified in a national newspaper.
- 15% seats are reserved for candidates belonging to scheduled castes.
- 7 ½ seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the scheduled tribe.
- 5% seats are reserved for defence category.
- Three % of seats are reserved for physically handicapped candidates
