Dayanand Anglo Vedic College is commonly known as DAV College which is located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. It has been established in the year 1919 under the aegis of Dayanand Anglo-Vedic College Trust and Management Society. It is affiliated to Chhatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaj University and Agra University. It imparts the education in many disciplines such as Humanities and Social Science, Commerce, Applied Science, Teaching and Education.
The offered courses are B.Com, BA, B.Sc, B.Ed, BA, M.Sc, M.Com etc. It has many departments namely Commerce, Economics, History, English, Hindi, Mathematics, Sanskrit, Chemistry, Zoology, Geography, Chemistry, Physics, Military Science and more.

For B.Com and BA, students must have done intermediate in any discipline from recognized board.
For admission to B.SC, students must have completed 10+2 in science stream with PCM or PCB subjects from recognized University.
For M.Sc, must have done B.Sc in relevant discipline from recognized University.
To be eligible for M.Com, must have done B.Com from recognized University.
For M.Sc Statistics, Students must have completed B.SC in relevant discipline from recognized University. They have to appear in the entrance test conducted by Chhatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaj University.
To get admission to Ph.D. courses, students must have completed Master degree with minimum 55% marks from recognized from recognized University. They will be required to appear in the entrance test conducted by CSJMU. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in the entrance examination.
