Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research is located in New Delhi, Delhi.
It was established in the year 1964.
The college is affiliated with Delhi Pharmaceutical Science and Research University (DPSRU) and approved by All India Council of Technical Education and Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.
It imparts quality education in the field of Pharmaceutical Science.
The college has developed State of Art Infrastructure. It is now a full-fledged Centre of Excellence.
Students have the opportunity to work in Well Furnished and Organized Research laboratories equipped with advanced Instruments in various potential areas like Novel Drug Delivery Systems, Indian System of Medicine, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Ocular Pharmacology, Antifertility and Infertility, Quality Assurance, Clinical Research, Herbal Drug Technology, Cardiovascular Research, etc.
All departments have their own space furnished laboratories with highly sophisticated instruments for postgraduates and Ph.D. researchers in addition to basic requirements for practical training of undergraduates.
It has all major facilities such as well-equipped classroom and labs, Air Conditioned Library with thousands of Books, Journals and Magazines of Pharmacy, Internet, Computer Center, ATM Facility, Seminar Hall, Sports Complex, Swimming Pool, Gym, Food Court, Hostel, Mess, etc.
There are a separate Training and Placement cell with a well-furnished hall for pre-placement talks, two group discussion, and interview rooms is available catering the need of campus placement of the University.
The T&P cell maintains the relationship with leading companies and Institutes in setting up internship and training programs for students. It conducts various activities like Group discussions, Tests, and Interviews.
Many top companies visit the college campus for holding campus Interviews and recruit students. Some of the top recruiters are Sun Pharma, Abbott, Lilly, Cipla, WNS, Johnson and Johnson, Innovax Ltd., GPS Pharma, Dr. Reddy’s, SBL Herbal, FDC Ltd., Apex Labs, Bristol etc.
