The duration of this program is four years and eight semesters. To apply to DIT University B.Tech CSE one must have scored a minimum of  60% marks in X and 60% marks in 12th. They must have subjects PCM along with English as the subjects.

The total fees for the first year in the All India Category are INR  3,43,800 and fees for the Uttarakhand /Himalayan state quota is INR 2,87,926. The students will get 26%schoalrship under the state quota. The other scholarships that you can apply for in this program as per the category are meritorious scholarship, girl scholarship, sibling scholarship, wards of defence personnel, single mother scholarship, a student whose both parents are not alive, differently able scholarship and sports scholarship. The percentage rate of these scholarships is between 10 to 30% based on the category one fits in. The scholarship is not for the admission fees, security fees and any other fees during the program.
