Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences is an autonomous Medical college, located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The institute was established in the year 2006. It is approved by Medical Council of India (MCI) and affiliated to King George's Medical University, Lucknow.

It provides the education in the field of Medical. The offered courses are MBBS, DM, MD, M.CH and Ph.D. There are various departments such as Cardiology, Neurology, Nuclear Medicine, Nephrology, Neurosurgery, Pathology, Radiodiagnosis, Anaesthesiology, Microbiology, Gastromedicine, Emergency Medicine, Surgical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and others.

The campus of Institute is well constructed and equipped with all modern facilities and amenities are available inside the campus. There are well equipped labs and workshops, Medical facilities, clinical departments, well equipped classroom with best teaching aids.

There is well equipped fully air conditioned library with large collection of books, journals and electronics database. It has 618 reference books, 58 E-Journals, and 104 journals. The library has online access to 314 books through CD ROM. Well equipped computer lab with 17 computers, software and e-database.

There are highly qualified and experienced faculty members in all departments. They assist the students and give them better learning for their bright future.

For admission to MBBS, student need to complete 10+2 in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects from recognized board. They have to score minimum 50% marks in qualifying examination. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st Dec. of the year of admission.Student will be required to appear in NEET UG conducted by CBSE. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in NEET UG.

To get admission to MD course, students need to complete MBBS course recognized by the Medical Council of India. Students must have permanent registration from Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council after completion of compulsory rotating Internship (Those who will complete their Internship by 30th April are eligible). Those students who have obtained qualifying valid score for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) are eligible. Students who hold MBBS degree from Foreign Universities should have passed the Screening Test conducted by the National Board of Examinations.
