Film Institute of eMITS is a private institute, it is located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It was started in the year 1980. The Institute is approved by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi and affiliated toMakhanlal Chaturvedi Rashtriya Patrakarita Vishwavidyalaya.
It imparts the education in the area of Media and Mass Communication. The offered courses are BA in Mass Communication, MA in Mass Communication, B.Sc Electronics Media, MA in Broadcast Journalism, Bachelor in Computer Application and MA in Advertising and Public Relation.
The campus of Institute is sprawling over an area of 10 acres of green lush land. The surrounding area of campus is pollution free and better for learning. The classrooms are well equipped with modern teaching aids such as LCD projectors, Overhead Projectors etc, Well stocked library with books of all subjects, medical facility, cafeteria, mess etc, seminar hall and many other academic facilities are available for the students inside the college campus.
The placement cell works related to training and placement activities. The cell has relationships with many companies and invites them for campus placement. Many activities and programs are organized by the cell for the overall development of students such as Mock Interviews, Presentation Skills, Personality Development, Interpersonal and Communication Skills, Group Discussion and others. Some of the recruiting companies are AAJ TAK, Zee News, NDTV, E Tv, Bollholff etc.

For admission to BA, students must have done 10+2 in any discipline from recognized board. They must have good communication skills.
To be eligible for BCA must have done intermediate in any discipline with Mathematics or Computer Application as one of the main subject at 10+2 level from recognized board.
For Post Graduate courses, students must have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized University and have good communication skills. They must have obtained minimum 50% marks in qualifying examination (45% marks in case of SC/St category students).

The fee structure is nominal as compared to the Mass Media colleges in the city. The total average fee for MA in Mass Communication Rs.90,000 p.a. and MA in advertising and the public relation is Rs.90,000 per annum. The fee of the rest of the courses are also less.
