Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital has Post Graduate Medical college namely Govind Ballabh Pant Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research which is located in New Delhi. It is government medical college which has been established in the year 1961. It is affiliated to University of Delhi and approved by Medical Council of India.
The college offered the PG and Post Doctoral courses In Medical science. The offered courses are DM in Cardiology, Neurology and Gastroenterology, M.Ch in Cardio Thoracic Surgery, Neuro Surgery, Gastrointestinal surgery, MD in various specializations such as Microbiology, Radio Diganosis, Pathology, Psychiatry etc.
There are many departments namely Anesthesia, Radiology, Psychiatry, Pathology, Neurosurgery, Gastroenterology, Gastrointestinal surgery, Dietary, Blood Bank, Bio Chemistry, Cardiology, Neurology, Microbiology, Cardiothoracic and others.

For admission to MD courses, students must have completed MBBS from any recognized University which is approved by Medical Council of India. They must have completed one year rotatory internship. Students must have registered under the Medical Council of India. They need to appear in NEET PG. Admission will be done through counseling based on the score obtained in NEET PG.
For M.Ch course in various specialization, to be eligible for this course student must have completed Post Graduation (MD or MS) in relevant discipline from recognized University. They must have obtained minimum 55% marks in qualifying examination.
For DM course, the minimum eligibility for DM course is MD or DNM or any other equivalent qualification in relevant discipline from recognized University and obtained minimum 55% marks.
