Haldia Institute of Management is commonly known as HIM, it is located in Haldia, West Bengal. The institute has been established in the year 2004. It is approved by All India Council of Technical Education New Delhi and affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology.
It is offering the courses like BBA in Hospital management, BMS (Pharmaceutical Management), MMS, BBA, Bachelor of Optometry, B.Sc in Gaming and Mobile Application Development, M.Sc in Human Computing and Artifical Intelligence etc.
It has well developed infrastructure and there are modern facilities available. It has well stocked library with good collection of books, journals, periodicals etc, Fully air Conditioned Auditorium with seating capacity of 500 people, Hi Tech computer lab with internet connectivity, Indoor and Outdoor games facilities such as Football, Cricket, table Tennis, Chess etc, Separate Hostel for boys and girls, Gym, recreational facilities, Yoga Centre etc.
HIM conducts Seminars and Workshops at the National and International Categories. Every year it also organizes Orientation day at college campus.

The eligibility criteria for the Undergraduate and Post Graduate courses are:
For B.Sc in Gaming and Mobile Application Development, students must have completed 10+2 in science stream with minimum 50% marks from any recognized University.
For B.Opt, must have done intermediate in science stream with PCM or PCM subjects from recognized board. They need to obtain minimum 45% marks (40% marks in case of SC/ST category students).
For BBA, must have done 12th in any discipline with minimum 50% marks. They must have studied English as main subject at 10+2 level.
For admission to M.Sc, graduation in science stream with minimum 50% marks from recognized University.
To be eligible for BMS, must have done 10+2 in science stream.

The fee of every course is different. Fee can be paid in two installments yearly. Form and Prospectus fee is Rs.500. The average fee for BBA course is Rs. 48,667 per annum, B.optom Rs.97,333 and the fee of other courses are also nominal.
