Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya is commonly referred as CSK Himachal Pradesh Agriculture University (CSK HPKV) which is located in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh. The University has been established in the year 1978 and it is accredited by National Board of Accreditation and Indian Council of Agricultural Research.
The University has four constituent colleges namely College of Home Science, College of Agriculture, College of Veterinary and Animal Science, School of Basic Science and School of Agriculture.
The University has five advanced Research centers in the main campus of Palampur and 8 Krishi Vigyan Kendras (Agricultural Science Centers) at Hamirpur, Kangra, Una, Mandi, Kukumseri, Dhaulakuan, Bajaura and Berthin.
The offered courses are B.Sc in Botany, Chemistry, Agriculture Economics, Horticulture etc, B.Sc Hons. in Agriculture, Agronomy, Entomology and Community Science, BVSC and AH, M.Sc in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Horticulture, Agroforestry, Agronomy, Agriculture Biotechnology etc, MVSC, Ph.D in Renewable Energy, Biochemistry, Animal Nutrition, Verterinary Medicine etc, B.Tech in Food Science etc.
The Campus of University is well constructed and having all major facilities such as well equipped and spacious classroom, laboratories and workshops, Central library with huge collection of books, National and International Journals, Magazines, Newspaper etc, Auditorium, Seminar and Conference hall, Medical Aid, Sports facility, Playground, Field for agriculture and many more facilities are available.
There are highly qualified, dedicated and experienced faculty members in all department, they support the students and give them completed knowledge regarding their subjects.

Student can fill online or offline application form.
For Admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H, students must have completed 10+2 in science stream with minimum 50% marks from recognized Board. Students have to appear in CSK HPKV Entrance Test. Admission will be done only on the basis of score obtained in Entrance Test. Around 85% seats are reserved for the HP Bona Fine students and 15% seats will be filled on the basis of All India Competitive Exam conducted by ICAR/VCI. In case students have equal score in the entrance test then preference will be given to that student who is older in age.
Admission to B.Sc Hons, B.Tech and B.Sc, 10+2 in science stream with minimum 50% marks from recognized Board. Admission will be done on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination.
B.Sc in Hospitality and hotel administration, 10+2 in any discipline from recognized Board.
Admission to B.Sc Hons. in Agriculture will be done through CSK HPKV Entrance Test.
There is relaxation of 10% marks in case of SC/ST/ DA category students.
85% seats in B.Tech in Food technology is opern to all as a Self Financing course whole all the seats under B.Sc HHA will be filled under Self Financing categories.
Admission to M.SC will be done on the basis of score obtained in CSK HPKV Entrance Test and marks obtained in last qualifying examination. 75% seats will be allotted to HP Bona Fide, In service nominees, Sports/ Co-Curricular Activities, Self Financing students, Kashmiri migrants.
Admission to PH.D, students must have completed Master’s degree in relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks from recognized University. Admission will be done on the basis of marks obtained in entrance examination and merit of qualifying examination.

The fee structure is nominal and students can easily afford it.
The total fee for B.Tech course is Rs. 125,504, B.Sc Rs. 79,128, B.Sc Hons. Rs. 79,128, BVSC Rs. 2,28,880, M.Sc Rs. 61,080 and Ph.D Rs. 1,05,120.
There is relaxation in fee for the students who belong to SC/ST/ DA category.
