- Admission to any of offered courses by HCN is based on Merit in the Last Qualifying Examination.
- Now, firstly, the candidates are shortlisted by the college based on eligibility criteria as prescribed by Indian Nursing Council.

- Thirdly, the merit list is prepared. As said on basis of the last qualifying exam and is displayed on the notice board of the college.

Himalayan College of Nursing, Dehradun B.Sc Nursing Admission 2025
- For admission to B.Sc. Nursing at the Himalayan College of Nursing, a candidate must be 10+ passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, individually from a recognized board like C.B.S.E./I.S.C./Intermediate Board Examination or any other.
- And, must have obtained a minimum of exact 45% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology took together.
- Also, in the case of SC/ST/OBC Category Candidates, a minimum of exact 45% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology took together.
Himalayan College of Nursing, Dehradun M.Sc Nursing Admission 2025
- For admission to M.Sc. Nursing at the Himalayan College of Nursing, it is important that a candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
- And, must have B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Degree (Regular or from recognized IGNOU centers)
- With a minimum of 55%, aggregate marks from an Indian Nursing Council (INC) recognized institution.
- Also, he/she must have at least one year of work experience after a Basic B.Sc. Nursing or prior OR after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in clinical/public health/teaching from an INC-recognized institution(s).
