Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur Admission 2021 & Fee Structure

Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology is also known as IIEST, located in Shibpur, West Bengal. It is a Public Institute, established in the year 1856.

It is one of the oldest Engineering Colleges and imparts the quality research and education in the field of Engineering, Architecture, Management, Science and Technology.

The offered courses are B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Mining, Information Technology, Mechanical etc, B.Arch, M.Tech in Civil Engineering, Control Systems, Production Engineering, Material Science and Technology, Power System Engineering, Information Technology etc, B.Tech+M.Tech, M.Sc, MBA, Ph.D. in Engineering, Science, Applied Science and Management Science etc.

IIEST has world-class infrastructure spread over an area of 123 acres of lush green land with all modern facilities such as well equipped labs, Workshops, Smart classrooms, Computer Lab, Internet facility, Well stocked Library with a large collection of Books and Journals, Sports facility, Medical Aid, Workshops etc.

There are 15 departments, 9 schools, 3 cells and 8 centers in the institute. These departments are specially made to give individual attention to each course so that student could have a better understanding.

The training and placement cell of the university is responsible for conducting many activities such as prepare them for the on-campus and off-campus selection process, provide them internship, vocational, personality development programs, remedial training, and many others.

IIEST Shibpur Admission 2021

Admission to B.Tech and B.Tech+M.Tech program in various specializations will be done on the basis of score obtained in JEE Mains. Students will be called for the counseling at IIEST.
Admission to B.Arch programs will be done on the basis of JEE (2nd Paper).
Admission to M.Tech program will be done through CCMT (Centralized Counseling for M.Tech) on the basis of score obtained in GATE.
M.Sc program, 50% seats of the available seats will be filled through CCMN (Centralized Counseling for M.Sc) on the basis of score obtained in JAM. Remaining 50% seats will be filled through Entrance Test and Interview conducted by IIEST.
Admission to MBA course will be done on the basis of score obtained in CAT/ CMAT/ MAT/XAT. For CAT/ XAT the minimum score requirement is 65 percentile and for MAT/ CMAT the minimum score requirement is 85 percentile. Students will be shortlisted on the basis of score obtained in Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
Admission toPh.D courses will be done through Entrance Test and Interview conducted by the IIEST.

IIEST Shibpur Fee Structure

The Fee Structure of IIEST is different for all the courses and it changes every year.
The total fees of the year including Library fees, Small Lab Fees, Examination Fees, and other charges.
The Hostel and Mess charges depend on which hostel students choose and how the food is planned.
Students can take the Education loan from Bank at a very low rate of Interest and college provides the scholarships to many students who are deserving and meritorious.
There are all commodities are available in the campus. Costs of such commodities are much feasible to market rates.
