Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad is commonly known as IIIT Allahabad, It is a public Institute located in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the 19 IIIT listed by MHRD. It has been established in the year 1999.

IIIT Allahabad has been ranked 226 in Aisa by QS World University ranking in 2021, Ranked No.90 for Engineering by MHRD in 2021 and Ranked No.11 for Engineering by India Today in 2021.

The campus of college is spread over an area of 100 acres of land and having all the major facilities such as modern classroom with best teaching aids, Computer center with internet connectivity, Laboratories and workshops, Well stocked library with large number of books, National and International Journals, Periodicals, Magazines, Newspaper etc, Medical facility, Indoor and Outdoor games, Hostel, cafeteria, Mess, Seminar hall, Auditorium, Conference hall and many more facilities area available inside the college campus.

IIIT Allahabad imparts the education in the field of Information Technology. The offered courses are B.Tech in Information Technology, B.Tech in Electronics and communication Engineering, MBA in Information Technology, B.Tech+M.Tech, M.Tech in Electronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber Laws and Information Technology, Software Engineering, Wire Less Communication Technology etc, B.Tech+MBA, Ph.D in Information Technology.

Every year IIT Allahabad organizes “Effervescence” which is the annual cultural festival of the college. It goes for three years and consist Technology, Music, Sports, Cultural Programs and activities, debate, Contest and other activities.

It also conducts Conferences, Seminars, Educational tours, Industrial Visit, Workshops on various topics.

Many students have been placed in the top leading companies and industries of Country. There is training and placement cell which works the training and related activities and prepares the students in that way that they can perform well in their final interviews with the companies. It conducts GD Session, Mock Interview, Presenatation Skills, Personality Development Skills, Pre Placement talk etc.

Students can apply online on college official website.
To get admission to B.Tech course in Information Technology and Electronics and Communication Engineering, students must have completed 10+2 in science stream with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA from recognized Board. They must have valid score in JEE Main. Admission will be done through JEE mains and DASA followed by CSAB. For Admission to B.Tech+M.Tech will be given through CSAB only.
To get admission to M.Tech, students must have done Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline of Engineering and secured minimum 60% marks from recognized University. Admission will be given on the basis of score obtained in GATE and CCMT counseling.
For admission to MBA, student need to complete graduation in any discipline and secured minimum 60% marks from recognized University. Selection will be done on the basis of score obtained in CAT followed by Personal Interview.
For admission to Ph.D, master’s degree in relevant discipline from recognized University. Admission will be done through the merit basis of qualifying examination followed by Counseling. First preference will be given to those students who have valid score in UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ GATE .
