Institute for Excellence in Higher Education is commonly known as IEHE, It is an autonomous institute which is located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. It has been established in the year 1995. The college is affiliated to Barkatullah University, Bhopal.
IEHE provides the professional education in the field of Applied Science, Humanities and Social Science, Commerce and Management. The offered courses are BA Hons., B.Com Hons., B.Sc Hons., MA, M.Com, M.SC, M.Phil Mathematics, Diploma, Certification and Post Graduate Diploma.
There are various departments namely Biotechnology, Computer Science, Chemistry, Economics, Fashion Design, Food Science and Quality Control, History, Geography, Hindi, Political Science, mathematics, Sociology, Psychology and many more.
The campus of IEHE is well constructed and there all major facilities available. There are well furnished classrooms, computer labs, laboratories and equipments, seminar hall, lecture hall, well stocked library with large number of books, magazines, newspapers etc.
The central library of college has been divided into 8 sections namely Reading Section, Processing Section, Circulation section, Newspaper Section, Internet Section, Reference Section, Maintenance Section, Old Books Section.

Admission to all undergraduate, Diploma, PG Diploma and Post graduate courses will be done on the merit basis of qualifying examination.
For admission to B.S Hons., must have completed 10+2 in science stream with PCM or PCB subject from recognized board. They need to score minimum 60% marks in qualifying examination.
For BA Hons. students must have completed 10+2 in any discipline from recognized board. They must have obtained minimum 60% marks and 55% for SC/ST.
For B.Com hons., student need to complete 10+2 in Commerce or Science stream with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PH) from recognized board.
For admission to M.Sc, student need to complete B.Sc degree in relevant discipline from recognized University and obtained minimum 60% marks in qualifying examination.
To get admission to M.Com, students must have completed B.Com from recognized University. They must have obtained minimum 60% marks in pre qualifying examination.
Admission to MA in various disciplines, student must have done graduation with minimum 60% and 55% marks in case of Sc/St category students from recognized University.
