Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology is situated in Allahabad. The campus is spread over 26.5 acres of land with lush green lawns, distinguished buildings, and well-laid roads. The college offers admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
It is a reputed institution affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. It became the institution to get State grant in Aid in 1962.The university is also approved by AICTE, New Delhi
IERT Admissions 2021
- IERT Admission 2021 to B.Tech courses is done through UPSEE conducted every year.
- Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech course must have passed 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry, Math, and English.
- Admission to diploma courses will be based on IERT entrance examination followed by the interview.
- Candidates applying for diploma course must possess high school certificate in science and math.
- For Management Diploma course, Students must have Hindi and English subject in class 10th.
- Priority admission will be given to the students who have domicile certificate of Uttar Pradesh.
- UPSEE is generally conducted in the month of May every year by AKTU.
- Further, the college provides a scholarship to the candidates as per AICTE /AKTU rules.
- The scholarship is provided to meritorious students whose parents income is below 4 lakhs per

IERT Allahabad Fee Structure
IERT Allahabad Fee Structure of engineering courses is nominal. Since the university is government-affiliated, the fee is affordable. The IERT fee structure for engineering and diploma courses starts from 57,000 P/A to 2lakh P/A. This includes all facilities provided by the college. University also grants scholarship to meritorious students who cannot afford the fee for their opted course.
