The Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER) is a private Institute which was established in the year 1996, located at Bhubaneswar, Odisha. It is affiliated to Siksha O Anusandhan University.

It offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate level of course. Some of the offered courses of the institute are B.Tech in Bio Technology, B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, M.Tech in civil engineering and many others.

Students can apply online on college official website or they can obtain the application form from college campus.

For admission to B.Tech, students must have completed 10+2 in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematic as main subjects from recognized Board. They need to score minimum of 50% marks. Students who are willing to take admission under State Quota (75% seats), must have valid score in SAAT conducted by Professional Examination Board. For admission to 10% seats will be filled on the basis of score obtained in JEE Main and remaining 15% seats will be filled at the college level under Management quota.

For admission to M.Tech course, students must possess B.Tech or BE degree in relevant discipline from recognized University. They must have obtained minimum 50% marks in qualifying examination. Students must have valid score in GATE or SAAT. Students who belong to Odisha can take admission for 75% seats whereas the 25% seats will be reserved for the sponsored category students. GATE exam is not required under this quota.

Fee structure for B.Tech course is Rs.2,29,000 p.a., and M.Tech is Rs.1,28,000 p.a.

The fee is little higher than other colleges but the kind of education, facility and Environment College provides justify the cost and it is worth it.
