KCT College of Engineering and Technology (KCTCET) is one of the constituent College of KCT Group of Institutions, which is located in Sangrur, Punjab. The college was set up in the year 2021. It is affiliated to IK Gujral Technical University, Jalandhar and approved by AICTE New Delhi.
The campus of college is divided into two zones for Main College Building and Hostels. It has best infrastructure facilities for the students. There are tutorial rooms, modern classrooms, reading rooms, well stocked library with more than 12,000 books and rich collection of National and International journals, magazines, newspapers etc, 24*7 electricity, Transport facility, Seminar hall, Play ground, Medical care, well equipped laboratories and workshops, hostel for boys and girls, wifi connectivity, guest house, cafeteria, mess and others.
The college provides the technical education in engineering disciplines. The offered courses are B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and telecommunication Engineering.
Every year, KCT conducts the KCT YUVA which is an annual Cultural and Technical fest. The fest includes the Games Shows, Fashion show, dance show, Star night, Informal Events etc.
The college also conducts various curricular and extra co curricular activities for the students so that they can enhance their skills and develop the leadership’s qualities as well as obtain the hands on experience through weekly activities.
There are indoor and outdoor sports facilities are available which includes the football, table tennis, cricket, football, basket ball etc. The college organizes the Two Day Sports meet in the college campus.
The placement cell prepares the students for their future by conducting induction and orientation, Summer Internships, Mock Interview, Industrial Visit, Mid Term Projects, Pre Placement talk, GD Session etc. The Cell interacts with the top leading companies and invite them for campus placement.
KCT College of Engineering and Technology, Sangrur Admission
- KCT offers the B.Tech course in 5 disciplines namely Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering. The duration of course is minimum 4 years.
- After completion of third year, students have to go for the summer internship.
- To be eligible for this course, students must have completed 10+2 in science stream with PCM subjects from recognized Board. They must have obtained minimum 45% marks in qualifying examination.
- 85% seats will be filled through the PTU central counseling on the basis of score obtained in JEE Main. These seats are reserved for those students who belong to Punjab.
- The rest of the 15% seats are reserved for the students who belong to outside Punjab. Their admission will also be done on the basis of score obtained in JEE Main.
- In case, seats will remain vacant then it will be filled through college level counseling based on the marks obtained in 10+2 examination.

- The fee of college is nominal and affordable. Its basic fee for B.Tech course is Rs. 89,750 p.a.
- Students who are willing to stay in hostel then they have to pay separately for the hostel and mess facility.
