Khalsa College Mohali of Technology and Business Studies (KCMTBS) is a premier institute of higher learning which was established in the year 2009 under the aegis of Khalsa College Charitable Society. The Institute is affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala.
The Institute offers the undergraduate and post graduate courses in various disciplines such as Commerce, Management, Computer Application, Information Technology, Arts etc.
The offered courses are BCA, B.Com, BA, MBA, PGDCA, M.sc in Information Technology, BBA and M.Com.
It has well stocked library with large collection of books, journals, and magazines related to Commerce, Arts, Computer Science and Management Studies, E-Library. Multimedia based learning such as video , cds, case studies etc.
The college conducts the guest lecture throughout the year. Also, it organizes the various extracurricular activities and encourage the students to take part in such activities such as dance, theatre, dramatics, music, arts, sports and others.
It has also represented in National Youth Festival at many times in folk dance and theater. It is only only college of Punjab state who has won the first position in the National Youth Festival in Folk Dance and two times became runner cup. It also won the many trophies in Youth Zonal Festivals.
The training and placement conducts the career counseling session, group discussion, Technical test, Mock Interview, Presentation skills and workshop for the overall development of student and prepare them for final interview with companies. Some of the recruiting companies are PEDA, Virasat E Khalsa, Verka Plant, Verka Milk Plant Mohali etc.

- Students can download the application form from college official website and submit the duly filled application form at college admission cell along with Rs.300 in cash or Demand Draft in favour of the “Principal, Khalsa College, Mohali Phase 3 A ” payable at any Branch.
- Admission to B.Com, students must have done 10+2 in any discipline from recognized board.
- For admission to BA, 10+2 in any discipline from recognized board.
- To get admission to BBA course, students must have completed 10+2 in any discipline with English as main subject from recognized board.
- For BCA admission, must have done intermediate with Mathematics or computer related subject from recognized board.
- PGDCA, student must be graduated in any discipline with minimum 50% marks from recognized University.
- Admission to M.Com, must have done Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from recognized University.
- For M.Sc in Information Technology, must have done BCA/ B.SC in Information Technology/ Computer Science/ BSc with mathematics or any other equivalent qualification in relevant discipline from recognized University.
- Admission to MBA, graduation in any stream with atleast 50% marks from recognized University.
