L D College of Engineering (LDCE) full name is Lalbhai Dalpatbhai College of Engineering, it is a Government engineering college which is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The college is approved by AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to Gujarat Technological University. It has been established in the year 1948.
It imparts undergraduate and postgraduate courses namely B.E in Automobile Engineering, Plastics Technology, Environmental Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Civil Engineering etc and ME in Information Technology, Geotechnical Engineering, Communication Systems, Textile Engineering, Automation and Control Power System, Applied Instrumentation and many more.

The eligibility to apply BE course is 10+2 in science stream with PCM subjects and obtained minimum 50% marks in qualifying examination. They have to appear in GUJCET exam. The merit list will be prepared on basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination and score obtained in GUJCET/JEE mains.
Students who have appeared in JEE Main will not be required to appear in GUJCET.
For admission to ME in 17 specializations. To be eligible for this course, students must have done B.Tech or BE in relevant discipline of engineering discipline or any other equivalent qualification in relevant discipline from recognized University and obtained minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). Students must have appeared in PGCET or GATE. Admission will be done through counseling based on the score obtained in GATE or PGCET.

It is a government engineering college so the fee for bachelor’s and master’s course is very less and affordable. The average fee for BE course is Rs.2500 per semester and ME is Rs.3000 per semester. The fee includes the library charges and development charges.
