Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, Jabalpur was established in 2021 by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. It is also known as Madhya Pradesh Ayurvigyan Vishwavidyalaya which is the governing body of all Medicine, Dental, Nursing, Paramedical, Ayurveda, Homeopathic, Unani and Yoga Colleges in Madhya Pradesh. There are 271 colleges under MPMSU with a yearly intake of 23800 students all over the state. The university keeps a strict control over the colleges so as to maintain a level for standard education giving a healthy learning environment for the students.
