Maharaja Lakshman Sen Memorial College is commonly known as MLSMC, it is a Public College which is located in Sunder Nagar, Shimla. It has been established in the year 1976. The college is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla.

For BBA, BA, BPE and B.P.Ed, students must have completed intermediate in any discipline from recognized board.
For B.SC, must have completed 12th in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology as main subjects from recognized University.
The minimum eligibility for BCA, must have completed 10+2 in any discipline with Mathematics or Computer Application as main subject from recognized board.
For B.Ed, students must have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized University.
The minimum eligibility for M.SC Physics, students must have completed B.Sc with Physics or any other equivalent qualification in relevant discipline from recognized University.
For M.Sc Zoology, students must have completed B.SC with Zoology as main subjects or any other equivalent qualification in relevant discipline from recognized University.
M.SC Chemistry, must have B.SC or any other equivalent qualification in relevant discipline from recognized University.
Admission to all the courses will be done through counseling based on the marks in qualifying examination.
