Malwa Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) is located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. It was established in the year 2007. The college is approved by AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal.
MIST imparts the technical education in the field of Engineering. The offered courses are BE in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Diploma in Civil Engineering, Computer science and Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, Thermal Engineering and Structural Engineering.
It has well equipped infrastructure with all required major facilities such as Auditorium, modern classroom, Ampitheatre, Cafeteria, Transport facility, medical facility, Computer lab with internet connectivity, well stocked library, Cafeteria, Seminar hall, Conference hall, labs and workshops and many other facilities are available inside the college campus.
Career Development Cell is the main interface between the faculty, students and corporate world to begin continuous interaction with the industry, industry need, sharing the industry experiences and providing the support to the corporate world. The cell has team of highly qualified trainers which conducts seminars, workshops on Career Planning, Behavioral Skills, Effective Communication Skills, Interview Techniques and Personality Development.
The cell also arranges the Pre Placement Talk, GD Session, Written Test and Interviews as per the required of visiting companies.
The main recruiting companies are Cognizant, UCO Bank, IBM, Allseas, Syntel, Videocon, Intergraph, Reliance, Airtel and many more.

Admission to BE courses in various specializations, students must have done 10+2 in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and mathematic as main subject from recognized board. They need to score minimum 50% marks in qualifying examination. They must have valid score in JEE Main. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in JEE Mains followed by State Level Counseling.
For Admission to M.Tech, students must have completed B.Tech or BE in Engineering discipline from recognized University. They must have obtained minimum 55% marks in last qualifying examination. Students must have valid score in GATE. Admission will be given on the basis of GATE score. Students who are willing to take admission on the basis of qualifying examination require applying directly for the counseling process conducted on the State Level.
To get admission to Diploma course, students must have completed High school with English, Science and Mathematics as main subjects from recognized board. They need to appear in Madhya Pradesh Pre-polytechnic Test (MP-PPT) conducted by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board. Admission is given on the basis of score obtained in MPPPT.
