Mata Sahib Kaur College of Nursing (MSKCN) is a private nursing college which is located in Mohali, Punjab. It was established in the year 1998 by Management of Education Society for Health Activities (ESHA). It is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Science, Faridkot.
MSKCN offers Diploma, Undergraduate and Post graduate courses in the area of Nursing. The offered courses are B.SC Nursing, M.sc Nursing, GNM, ANM and B.Sc Post Basic Nursing.
It has well developed infrastructure with best facilities and amenities for the students. There are well spacious classrooms and various physical facilities to develop the students Physically, Socially, Emotionally, Morally and Psychologically. Mata Sahib Kaur College of Nursing, Mohali Admission
For admission to B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic Nursing and M.Sc Nursing, students have to appear in Entrance Test conducted by baba farid University of Medical Science. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in entrance exam.
For Admission to B.Sc Nursing, the duration of course is four years, students must have completed 10+2 in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects from recognized Board. The minimum age is 17 years as on or before 31st December of the year of admission. Student must be medically fit to pursue this course.
To get admission to M.Sc Nursing, students must have completed B.Sc Nursing/ B.Sc Hons Nursing or Post Basic Nursing from recognized University. Student must be registered nurse or registered midwife or any other equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council. Minimum one year of Work experience after B.SC Nursing or Post basic Nursing. They must have obtained minimum 55% marks in qualifying examination (50% marks in case of Sc/ST category student).
For ANM, students must have done 10+2 in any discipline with minimum 45% marks (40% marks in case of SC/ST category students). Only female candidates can apply for this course.
GNM admission, students must have completed 10+2 with 45% (40 for SC/ST). Preference will be given to those students who have done 10+2 in science stream.
