Maturi Venkata Subba Rao Engineering College is commonly known as MVSREC which is located in Hyderabad, Telangana. It has been established in 1981 under the aegis of Martrusi Education Society. MVSREC is approved by AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to Osmania University.
It has been ranked among the top 100 Private Engineering colleges in India by EFY research.
Its aim is to provide the technical education and produce the technically skilled confident & socially responsible engineering for the country.
MVSREC imparts the technical education in the field of Engineering and Management. The offered courses are BE in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering etc, ME in CAD/CAM, Embedded System and VLSI Design, M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and MBA.
It has well developed campus with all required facilities. There are well equipped classrooms with modern teaching aids, well stocked library with large collection of books in all subjects, hostel, seminar hall, auditorium, medical facility, transportation facility, mess, cafeteria, well equipped labs, workshops etc.
Every year, it conducts Smavartan which is a Technical fest of college and other fest like Freedom Fest, Cultural Fest (SANGAMAM). It also organizes various curricular and extra co-curricular activities for the overall development of students.
There is an active placement cell which is responsible for the training and placement related activities. Many prestigious companies visit the college every year for campus recruitment. To get admission to BE or B.Tech course, students must have completed 10+2 in science stream with PCM subjects from recognized board. They need to appear in AP EAMCET (Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test). Admission will be done only on the basis of score obtained in AP EAMCET.
For admission to B.E lateral, student need to complete B.Sc or Diploma in Engineering from recognized University. They also have to appear in Entrance exam i.e. AP ECET which is National Level Entrance Test.
Admission to M.Tech or ME, students must have completed Btech or BE in engineering discipline from recognized PGCET. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in GATE/ PGCET.
For MCA admission student need to appear in AP ICET (Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance) conducted by education authority of Andhra Pradesh. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in AP ICET. Students must have done graduation and mathematics as main subject at 10+2 or graduation level.
For MBA admission, student must hold bachelor degree with minimum 45% marks. Admission will be done on the merit basis of score obtained in AP ICET.
