Metro College of Health Sciences & Research (MCHSR) was founded in 1977 by Dr. Purshotam Lal, who is the Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Dr. B.C. Roy National Awardee. The college is established as a part of the student-centric services of Metro Group of Hospitals. The Metro Group of Hospitals was one of the first to introduce Cardiology in India and is a group of 13 successful hospitals situated in cities like Delhi, Haryana, Gujrat, Rajasthan, etc.

The Society of Metro Group had thought of imparting quality education in the area of Health Sciences and for this they took the initiation of establishing MCHSR, one of the wings of the institution is Metro College of Pharmacy which offers various pharmacy programs to young people of today. 

Furthermore, The Metro College of Pharmacy is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam University, Lucknow, and the Board of Technical Education, Lucknow. Also, has the approvals from Pharmacy Council of India and All India Council for Technical Education & Ministry of HRD, New Delhi, And is ACITE, PCI certified.

MCHSR, Greater Noida has 4 Departments such as Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, and Pharmacognosy. The Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) Course at Metro College is extended over a period of four-academic years. Each year is divided into two semesters of six months, that makes a total of eight semesters. Now, Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) is of two years consisting of part-I and part-II. A minimum of 180 working days per year followed by a practical training of at least 500 hours is required. Below given table shows MCHSR, Greater Noida Fee Structure 2022 :

In this section, you can check MCHSR, Greater Noida Admissions Process 2022 for both the  courses : 

For Admission in B.Pharm 1st Year, A candidate needs to pass a 10+2 level examination conducted by the respective state/central govt. authorities recognized it as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) And/Or Biology (P.C.B/P.C.M.B) as the optional subjects individually.

For Admission in B.Pharm 2nd Year (Lateral Entry), A candidate needs to be passed on D.Pharm Course from any of the institutions approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act. 

Lastly, For Admission in D.Pharm, A candidate needs to be passed in a 10+2 level examination in science stream, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology Or Maths Or any other qualification approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

Also there is an option for Computer Science students that are interested in B.Pharm & D.Pharm Courses. 

In B.Pharm, the Computer Science Entrance Exam passed candidate is eligible. It is an State Entrance Examination conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. 

And in the D.Pharm Course, candidates who have cleared the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh in Computer Science are eligible.
