What is Motherhood University B.Ed. Course?

Motherhood University Roorkee has been established in the year 2015 and since then disseminating the quality education for the students. The university runs under the aegis of “Management & Technology Society” which was established on December 23, 2004. The objective is to offer education, research, and training to the aspiring youth of Uttarakhand in terms of employment.

A bachelor of education (B.Ed) is an undergraduate degree course that prepares students for the rank of professional teachers. This degree is mandatory for teaching in secondary (classes 9th and 10th) and higher secondary (classes 11th and 12th). Students from an art stream are trained to teach subjects like History, civics, geography and languages, the students from a science stream are trained to teach Mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology. 

What does the Motherhood University B.Ed course offer?

Motherhood University B.Ed. Admission Procedure 2020

Announcement for admission to various courses will be published in the leading newspaper of different regions of the country or all over India and /or the website of the University.  The admission procedure generally starts in the month of May.

What are the admission criteria of B.Ed?

• The number of students to be admitted in each academic session to the B.Ed. the course is approved by the academic council of Motherhood University, Roorkee. Only limited numbers of students are admitted to any of the academic program. 
• Admission will be done on the basis of the merit determined as per procedure laid down by the university.
• The university may conduct its own entrance examination followed by an interview, counselling. Direct admission can be taken if the student has a good academic record. 
• University may decide to make admission to the vacant seats in any of the academic program on merit basis or otherwise.
• Candidates need to fulfill the course eligibility criteria prescribed by the university, shall be considered for admission to any academic program.
• Change of course to any academic programme at Motherhood University; Roorkee shall not be permissible after admission confirmation to B.Ed. course.

• Students can apply through downloading the Motherhood Univerity B.Ed. application form through the official website. 
• Applicants seeking admission to B.Ed. course are advised to send their application on the prescribed format obtained from the admission cell of motherhood university, Roorkee on payment of INR 1100/- (which can also be downloaded from the university website). All payments must be made by the demand draft drawn in favor of “Motherhood University” payable at ‘BhagwanPur, Roorkee.  
• Applicants must be enclosed a DD of 1100.
• Send your application to the following address “The registrar Motherhood University, Roorkee –Dehradun Road, Vill Karoundi, Post Bhagwanpur, Tehsil Roorkee, Distt, Haridwar, Uttarakhand- 247661, India” on or before the due date. 
• Application form should be carefully filled with attachment of the following documents :

1. 10th mark sheet 
2. 12th Marksheet 
3. 10th and 12th pass certificate 
4. Domicile (for permanent residents of Uttarakhand)
5. Annual Income certificate 
6. Transfer Certificate /Migration certificate 
7. Character Certificate 
8. 15 passport photographs 
9. Proof of entitlement for a particular reservation category (SC/ST/OBC certificate )

Note – Incomplete application forms received after the due date shall be rejected without any intimation. University will ask for the original documents at the time of interview.

B.Ed Fee Structure at Motherhood University, Roorkee 

The fee structure of B.Ed. fees structure is nominal. Students have to pay their tuition fee the time of admission along with security fees. The security fees will be refundable after course completion. The fees are estimated at around 20k to 50k per semester. This does not include hostel charges.
