Naraina College of Engineering Technology (NCET) is a constituent college of Naraina Group of Institutions which is located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. It was established in the year 2007. Naraina College of Engineering Technology is approved by All India Council of Technical Education and affiliated to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow and Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education Lucknow.

NCET has very huge campus which is sprawling over an area of 138 acres of green lush land. The college provides the best facilities to its students and college staff inside the college campus. There are modern classroom with modern teaching aids, computer centre with internet connectivity, well equipped labs and workshops with latest kind of equipments. In addition, it has well stocked library with more than 55,000 books, periodicals, journals etc, Spacious hostel, full equipped seminar hall, auditorium, lecture hall, mess, canteen, medical facility, transport facility, Indoor and Outdoor games facility etc.

NCET imparts the high quality education in the field of Engineering, Computer Application and Management. The offered courses are B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Textile Technology, M.Tech in Mechanical manufacturing Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, MCA and MBA.

It has training and placement cell which focuses on the imparting training to students and provide placement. The cell conducts various programs to enhance their interpersonal and communication skills, Motivational skills, leadership qualities, Group Discussion, Interview techniques, Mock Interviews etc.

To be eligible for B.Tech course, student need to pass intermediate in science stream with PCM subjects form recognized board. They need to obtain minimum 45% marks (40% marks in case of Sc/St). They must have appeared in UPSEE or JEE Main. Admission is given on the basis of score obtained in JEE Main and UPSEE. Vacant seat are filled on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 examination. 75% seats will be filled through UPSEE, 10% through JEE Main and 15% seats through management quota seats.

To get admission to M.tech course, student must have completed B.tech or BE in engineering discipline from recognized University. Students with valid GATE score will be given first preference at the time of admission.

For MCA admission, must have done Graduation with Mathematics from recognized University. Admission will be done through UPSEE. 85% seats will be filled through UPSEE and 15% seats through management quota.

To get admission to MBA course, students must have done graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% marks. Students with valid CAT/ MAT score will be given first preference.

The fee for every course is different and it varies every year as per the norms of University. The fee for B.Tech course is Rs.1,22,500 per annum, MBA Rs.2,06,900 (Total), M.Tech Rs.1,48,500 (Total), MCA Rs. Rs.2,31,900 (total).
