NIT Warangal Admission 2021 & Fee Structure

National Institute of Technology, Warangal is referred as NITW, Located in Telangana. It is a Government Engineering College, established in the year 1959. Formerly known as Regional College of Engineering and in 2002 it was renamed as the National Institute of Technology, Warangal. It is administered by the NIT Council of India.

NITW has been ranked 25 among Top Engineering College in India by NIRF in 2021 and 78 overall. It was also ranked 15 among the Engineering College in India in 2021 by the Week.

The college campus is spread over an area of 256 acres of Land and having all the modern facilities for the students, faculties and college staff. There are spacious and modern classrooms, 100 laboratories with latest equipment, Hostels, Mess, Auditorium, Stadium, well-stocked library, Transportation facility, Seminar Hall, Conference hall etc. There are 13 academic Departments, 16 Residential Blocks, Administrative Blocks etc.

It offers the Undergraduate, Post Graduate and Doctoral level programs in the field of Engineering, Management, Computer Application, and Science. Some of the offered courses are B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Metallurgical and Material Science etc., MBA, M.Tech in Automobile Engineering, Construction Technology, Machine Design, Environmental, Power Electronics and Drives, Manufacturing Technology etc, M.Sc in Engineering Physics, Applied Chemistry, Organic Chemistry etc, MCA, Ph.D in Mathematics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology etc.

NITW conducts various programs throughout the year such as Technozion (Technical Fest), SpringSpree (Cultural Fest) and CURA (Management Fest).

There are various committees and clubs for the Student’s welfare as well as there are Women Cell, SC/ST/ OBC cell, and Minority Cell.

The training and placement cell assists the department in placement of students at major Industries and Companies. It also arranges the Summer Training, Internship, Soft Skill Development Programmes, Seminars, Work Presentation, GD Session etc so that students can perform well during the campus recruitment.

Around 120- 150 companies visit the NITW every year for Campus Placement. The major recruiters are Amazon, Asian Paints, ACC limited, CISCO Systems, Infosys, COCA COLA, Bank of America, Barclays Bank, Bosch Ltd., Cognizant, CSC, Google, JP Morgan, Shell, and Vodafone etc.

NIT Warangal Admission 2021

Admission to B.Tech in various specialization will be done on the basis of score obtained in JEE Main. Must have 10+2 in science stream with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and obtained minimum 75% marks (65% marks in case of SC/ST category students).
Students who are willing to take admission in M.Tech must have completed B.Tech/ BE in relevant discipline from recognized University. Students will be selected only on the basis of score obtained in GATE.
Admission to M.Sc will be done through JAM entrance exam.
Admission to MBA course in five specializations must hold Bachelor’s hold from recognized University.
Admission will be done only on the basis of score obtained in CAT/ MAT.
MCA admission with be done through NIMCET, a national level entrance exam conducted jointly for all the NITs. Students must have completed Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics subject from recognized University. Students who have done B.Tech / BE in relevant discipline from recognized University.
