Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology Delhi Admission 2021 & Fee Structure

Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology is also known as NSIT, located in Delhi. It is an autonomous institute established in the year 1983 as the name Delhi Institute of Technology and in 1988 the college name was renamed as Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology.

NSIT is approved by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi and affiliated to University of Delhi.

It has been ranked 18 for Engineering by The Week in 2021 and 10 by India Today in 2021.

It imparts the Technical Education in the field of Engineering and Technology. NSIT offers B.E, M.Tech and Ph.D. programs in various discipline of Engineering such as Biotechnology, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Process and Automation Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Electronics, VLSI Design, Signal Processing etc. It also offers Ph.D. programs in Science and Humanities such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Humanities and Social Science.

NSIT infrastructure is well constructed in an area of 145 acres of Land. It includes Administrative Buildings, 5 Academic Buildings, Library buildings etc. There are well-equipped classrooms, well-stocked Library, 4 boys hostels, 2 girls hostel, Auditorium, Workshops, laboratories with latest equipment, Playground, Mess and Cafeteria, Computer labs, Seminar Hall, Conference Room, Transportation, Medical Aid etc.

NSIT Delhi conducts Annual Cultural Fest (Moksha), Cultural activities, Conference on National Level, Seminars, Debating, Quizzing, Writing, Industrial Visit, Seminars, Sports etc.

The Training and Placement cell makes the arrangement for the students to undergo Summer Internship in Multinational/ Private or Public sectors. Some of the top industries in which students have done Internship such as Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Texas, Qualcomm, CISCO, Hero Moto Corp etc. Some students also have completed their internship in some of the PSUs such as MTNL, Airport Authority, Engineers India Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited etc.

Many Top Reputed organizations visit the college for Campus Placement. The major recruiters are Google, Microsoft, CISCO, Directi, Lenskart, JPMC, Reliance, Sapient, SAP labs, Amdocs, Round One, Rockstand Digital etc.

NSIT Delhi Admission 2021

Students can fill the application form online by visiting college official website.
To get admission in B.E course, students must have completed 10+2 with PCM subjects and qualified in JEE Mains. Admission will be done only on the basis of score obtained in JEE mains followed by JCA counseling. Once the merit list will be released, selected students have to take part in admission counseling conducted jointly by DTU, NSITand IGDTUW. Final selection will be done after the verification of all the required documents.
M.Tech admission, students who have done BE/ B.Tech/ AMIR in related disciplines from recognized University. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in GATE. Admission of sponsored category students will be done through Entrance Test and Interview conducted by NSIT, New Delhi. 3% seats of over and above intake in M.Tech program are reserved for PH candidates.
NSIT offersPh.D course in various disciplines at Doctoral level. Students must have Master’s degree in relevant discipline from recognized University and must have appear in any one of the following Entrance Exams such as UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ GATE or other Nation Level Entrance Test.
Admission to TRF and RF will be done through Written Test (50%),subject-specific presentation (30%) and interview (20%).

NSIT Delhi Fee Structure

The NSIT fee structure is feasible and also tending towards expensive considering the quality of education. Though it also depends on different students and their financial condition as what is low for one and for some it is expensive.
But the college fee is much feasible and justifiable if we consider the reputation of NSIT, course curriculum and the facilities provided by the college.
There are many scholarships provided by the college on the basis of student’s academic performance. Also, there is concession in the fees for those students whose parents earn less. There are many Educational Loan plans too, that the students can pay afterward.
