Panchwati Institute of Engineering and Technology is known as PIET, located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. It is a Private Co-educational Institute which was established in the year 2009 by Panchwati Education and Social Welfare Trust. It is affiliated to Dr APJ Abdul kalam Technical University, Lucknow Uttar Pradesh. The courses offered by college are approved by AICTE New Delhi.
PIET provides the technical education in the field of Engineering. It offers B.Tech course in five disciplines such as Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
The campus is built on green lush land and having best infrastructural facilities. The Institute has well furnished and spacious classroom, well-equipped laboratories and Workshops with best modern equipment, separate hostel for boys and girls, well connected transportation facility, well stocked library with 5,000 volumes and number of Journals, magazines, newspaper etc, Lecture halls, Seminar halls and many more.
Every year college conducts Panchwati Pratibha Programme which is annual cultural and academic fest. It also organized Curricular and extracurricular activities like sports, cultural activities, events, competitions, dance, music, Quiz, and others.
The training and placement cell works related to the training and placement activities and prepare the students for campus placement. Students also go for the summer internship after the completion of 3rd year of B.Tech. The cell arranges the Interviews with the top companies so that students can get the job with good salary package.

PIET offers B.Tech course in five disciplines such as Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Civil Engineering. The duration of course is 4 years.
Admission to 85% seats will be filled through Uttar Pradesh Technical University counseling based on the score obtained in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE).
Admission to 15% seats will be filled by NRI Students at Institute level counseling under Management quota.
In case seats will remain vacant then it will be filled on the following preference orders:
First preference will be given to those students who have valid score in UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination.
Second preference will be given to the students who have appeared or qualified in JEE Main.
Third preference will be given to those students who have completed 10+2 in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects and secured minimum 50% marks in qualifying examination (45% marks in case of SC/ST category students) from recognized Board.
Admission to B.Tech lateral, students must have completed Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc with Mathematics as main subject from recognized University. They must have obtained minimum 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST). Admission will be done through UPSEE.

The PIET fee structure is affordable and nominal. Students can easily afford the college fee. They have to submit the fee in two installments annually through cash or demand draft.
PIET also offers the scholarship to meritorious and deserving students on the basis of their academic performance.
