PEC University of Technology Admission 2021 & Fee Structure

PEC University of Technology formerly known as Public Engineering College, located in Chandigarh. It was established in the year 1921. It got the status of Deemed to be University in the year 2021 by the UGC.

It is one of the Top colleges of India in the field of Applied Science, Engineering and Technology.

The PEC University was ranked 73 among Engineering Colleges by the National Institutional Ranking Framework in 2021.

It has collaborated with many National and International Institutions for Students exchange programs. Some of the collaboration are PEC-ESIGELEC France collaboration, PEC-ABB collaboration, PEC-UWA collaboration, PEC-JCB collaboration initiated and many other.

The university has also collaboration with many Industries such as ABB Global Industries & Services Ltd. Bangalore, Mohali Industries Association, Mohali etc.

It imparts the quality education in the field of Science, Engineering and Technology. The offered courses area B.Tech, M.Tech, Ph.D. in various disciplines such as Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Electrical Communication Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Applied Science, Information Security, VLSI Design, Industrial Design, Environmental Engineering etc.

The University campus is spread over an area of 146 acres of land in the city of Chandigarh. It is divided into many building, Blocks, Department, and Faculties. It provides the best infrastructural facilities such as Smart Classroom, Hostel, Residential Complex, Laboratories, Library, Reading Room, Spacious Playground, Squash Courts, Computer lab, Seminar Hall, Medical center, Tennis Courts, Gym, Post Office, Mess and Cafeteria, Lecture Theatres, Banking facility and many more facilities are available.

The PEC organizes various activities such as PECFEST (Annual Cultural and Technical Fest), VYOM (Annual Technical Fest), Cultural Activities, Seminars, Industrial Visits, Workshops, Sports etc. These activities work as a power booster and also discover many new talents.
There are many Students organization, Clubs, Students Council and 3 cells.

The Training and Placement cell works towards the training and job placement of Students. Many companies visit every year for Campus recruitment, some of the top companies are Amazon, Accenture, Bank of America, IBM, JB Morgan, Godrej, IBM, CISCO, Bank of America, L&T, Mu Sigma, Google, Deloitte, JP Morgan, Yahoo, Zomoto, SAP etc.

PEC Chandigarh Admission 2021

To take admission to B.Tech course, students must have completed 10+2 in science stream with minimum 75% marks (65% marks in case of SC/ST category students) from recognized Board. They must have studied Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subject and qualified in JEE Mains. Admission will be done on the basis of JEE Mains score and will have to appear for centralized counseling by Chandigarh Engineering & Architecture Counseling by Joint Admissions Committee
To apply for M.Tech, students must hold Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and secured minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA from recognized University. They must have valid score in GATE. Admission will be done through GATE score.
PEC offers Ph.D. courses (Full Time and Part Time) in various specializations. Students must have completed Master’s degree in related discipline and secured minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (55% or 5.5 CGPA in case of SC/ ST/PH category students).
Students will be required to appear in PEC Research Entrance Exam conducted by the PEC University. Once they will be qualified in Entrance Exam, they will be called for Personal Interview Round.
The College faculty members and staff members who are NET or GATE qualified can also take admission and they will only have to appear in the Personal Interview Round.

PEC Chandigarh Fee Structure

The College fee structure is much affordable as per and Engineering college. There are different fees bars depending upon category under which student take the admission like DASA, General, SC/ ST or its difference for B.Tech and M.Tech.
The B.Tech fee is Rs.1, 20,000 per annum, M.Tech total fee is Rs.96,000 and Ph.D. total fees is Rs.58,000.

Courses
