PSG College of Technology is commonly known as PSGCT, located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. It is an autonomous Government Aided, Private Engineering College which has been established in the year 1951.
The college is affiliated to Anna University. All the Undergraduate and Post Graduates courses offered by college, many are by the National Board of Accreditation of the AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education).
It has been ranked 19 among Engineering Institutes by National Institutional Ranking Framework in 2021 and 64 overall. It was also ranked 13th by India Today in 2021.
PSGCT imparts the higher education in the field of Engineering, Computer Application, Fashion Design, Applied Science and Technology and Management. PSGCT maintains the relations with many R&D institutions of Higher education in India and Abroad, through Network programmes and collaborative research programmes. It has also tie ups with many industries in the field of Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, Machine Tools, Software Development, Textile and others.
The campus of PSGCT is well equipped with all required facilities. It provides best infrastructural facilities such as Library, Workshops, well equipped classrooms, Seminar hall, Lecture hall, Medical Centre, Computer Labs with Internet connectivity, Sports facility, Hostel and Mess, GYM, Transportation facility and many more facilities are available inside the college campus.
There are about 750 faculty members in all departments of PSGCT and all are well qualified, experience and dedicated in their respective discipline. Most of the faculty members are PH.D holders.
There are many research centers inside the campus such as GRD Centre for material Research, Research on Nanotechnology, Research on Robotics, Asian Regional Research, COE dutch Research Centre and Industrial Research and development
Every year, college conducts various activities like Cultural programs, Technical activities, Sports, Seminars, Workshops, Alumni Activities, Industrial Tour, Educational Trips and other.
The T&P cell works on the overall development of students and invites National and International companies for campus recruitment. PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore Admission 2021
Admission to B.Tech in various specializations will be done on the basis of marks obtained in TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission). Selected students will be called for Counseling by the Anna University. Counseling process for B.Tech course starts by the end of June.
College offers M.Tech and MBA courses both Full Time and Part Time. The duration of Part time courses is 3 years whereas the duration for Full time courses is 2 years.
Admission to MCA and MBA course will be done on the basis of score obtained in TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test).
Admission to M.Tech in various specializations will be done as per the score obtained in GATE. The application for all the post graduate courses starts from the month of May.
Admission to B.Sc and M.Sc programs will be done on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination.
To take admission to Ph.D courses, students must hold Master’s degree in related disciplines from recognized University. Students will have to appear for Entrance Test conducted by the PSGCT. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in Entrance Test.

The fee is nominal and lesser than other colleges. For self supporting courses, the fee is little bit higher than the other courses offered by college.
Every year, the fee structure changes as per the Anna University and AICTE norms.
Students who get admission through merit, their fee structure is not much expensive and students who take admission through Management quota then their fee structure will expensive.
The Fee structure includes Tuition Fees, Library Fees, Laboratory expense, Id Card, Examination Fees and other charges. No other fees collected by college at the middle of semester.
