Samrat Ashok Technological Institute is commonly known as SATI, it is an autonomous institute which is located in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh. It has been established in the year 1960 Maharaja Jiwajirao. The college is funded by the government of Madhya Pradesh & managed by the Maharaja Jiwaji Rao Education Society. It is approved by AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal And Barkatullah University.
SATI provides the education in the various areas such as Engineering, Management, Computer Application and Applied Science. The offered courses are BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, ME in Power Electronics, M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, Computer Integrated manufacturing, Information Technology, ME in Environmental Engineering, MBA, M.Sc in Applied Chemistry, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, M.Sc Computer Science, MCA etc.
Its campus is spread over an area of 85 acres of green lush land and the surrounding area is eco friendly. It has well built infrastructure with all modern infrastructure facilities inside the college campus. There are various facilities providing by the college such as modern classroom, well equipped labs, workshops, well stocked library with large collection of books, periodicals, journals etc, medical facility, sports and games, Spacious and ventilated classrooms, seminar hall, ultra modern auditorium, Computer Centre, Separate hostel for boys and girls, common room, cafeteria, mess facility, well equipped gym, Baskey ball court, outdoor games facility and others.
There are various clubs and committee such as Music Club, Dance Club, Sports club, Green Vision Club, Aagaz theatre club, Flat club, UDAAN Dramatic Club, SAE Collegiate Club, SPIC Club and others.
It has training and placement cell which works training and placement related activities and prepares the students for their campus recruitment. The cell also conducts the personality development programmes, GD Session, Mock Interviews, Pre Placement talk etc.

To get admission to B.E course, students must have qualified 10+2 in science stream with PCM subjects from recognized board and obtained minimum 45% marks (40% marks in case of SC/ST category students). Students must have valid score in JEE Main or PET. Preference will be given to those students who have valid score in PET or JEE Main. Vacant seats will be filled on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination.
To get admission to M.Tech or ME course, students need to pass B.Tech or BE degree in relevant discipline of Engineering or any other equivalent qualification in relevant discipline from recognized University. Students with valid GATE score will be given preference. In case, seats will remain vacant then it will be filled on the basis of merit of previous qualifying examination.
For M.Sc admission, must have done B.Sc degree in relevant discipline from recognized University.
For Admission to MBA, must have done graduation in any discipline from recognized University. They need to appear in MET. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in MET and vacant seats will be filled by the college on the basis of marks obtained in graduation.
