SGT Institute of Engineering and Technology is commonly known as SGTIET, it is private co-education institute which is located in Gurgaon, Haryana. It has been established by Shri Guru Gobind Singh Educational Charitable Trust in 2000. The college is approved by AICTE New Delhi and affiliated Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak.
SGTIET imparts the technical education in engineering disciplines. The offered courses are B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, M.Tech in Manufacturing and Automation, Computer Science Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering.
The campus of college is sprawling over an area of 60 acres of lush green land. It has best infrastructural facilities such as smart classrooms, wifi connectivity, computer labs, seminar hall, conference hall, auditorium, well equipped laboratories, hostel, mess, cafeteria, workshop, transport facility, medical facility, sports and games and other facilities area avail by college for its students.
It conducts various curricular and extra co-curricular activities throughout the year such as workshops, seminars, debates, Diwali celebration, sports, industrial visit and others.

To get admission to B.Tech course, students need to complete 10+2 in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects from recognized Board. They need to obtain minimum 45% marks in qualifying examination. Admission for 75% seats will be filled through Haryana State Counseling Society through Online or off campus counseling.
The admission to remaining 255 seats will be filled as per the guidelines issued by HSCS or Haryana Government.
For B.Tech lateral, students must complete Diploma in Engineering or B.SC with mathematics as main subject from recognized University.
To get admission to M.Tech, students must have completed B.Tech or BE in Engineering discipline from recognized University. They need to secure minimum 50% marks in qualifying examination. First preference will be given to GATE score holders.

SGIET fee structure is much nominal and affordable. Students have to submit the fee of first semester at the time of admission and 2nd semester fee in the 1st week of November. Fee can be paid in Cash or Through Demand Draft.
There is scholarship to meritorious students and there is special discount for the girls students.
B.Tech fee is Rs.1,20,000 per year and M.Tech is Rs.70,000 per annum.
