B.Sc Nursing 

Academic Qualification

• Minimum age to apply should be 17 years old on or before 31st December ( year of admission).
• Minimum education qualification: 12th from recognized board with PCB and English with minimum 45% marks in PCBE.
• Duration of the course is 4 years. 

Admission Criteria – Selection will be done on the basis of entrance test held by the University i.e. HNB Medical university and director medical health Department (Training). 

GNM 

Academic Qualification 

• 12th passed out from the PCB subjects with minimum 40% marks.
• Those who have done 12th vocational ANM course from school recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
• Candidates must know Hindi.
• Minimum age should be 17 years and Maximum 35 years as on 31st December of the year of admission. 

Admission Criteria

• Admission will be done according to the norms laid by INC/SNC/GOVT.of Uttarakhand.
• The selection will be done by a selection committee in the office of medical education government of Uttarakhand , Dehradun by  advertising the seats to various private and government schools.

ANM 

Academic Qualification 

• 12th passed out in any stream with minimum 40% marks.
• Those who have done 12th vocational ANM course from school recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
• Candidates must know Hindi.
• Minimum age should be 17 years and Maximum 35 years as on 31st December of the year of admission. 

Admission Criteria

Post Basic B.Sc. 

Academic Qualification

• 12th passes out from a recognized board.
• One who has completed 11th in or before 1986.
• Must have GNM  certificate and must be registered as R.N.RM with state nurse registration council. 
• A male nurse who is trained before  doing new nursing course and further registered as a nurse with State Nurse Registration Council. Also produce a certificate of training  approved by INC for a same durationdoing midewifery in any of the following areas –

1. OT Technician 
2. Ophthalmic Nursing 
3. Leprosy Nursing 
4. Psychiatric Nursing 
5. Neurological and Nuero Surgical Nursing 
6. Community health nursing 
7. Cancer Nursing 
8. Orthopedic Nursing
