SNDT Women's University, Mumbai

SNDT Women's University is a State University, the full name of University is Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women's University. The headquarter of SNDT Women University is located in South Mumbai and main campus is located in Santacruz, Mumbai. It was started in the year 1916. It is recognized by UGC and accredited by NAAC. It has affiliated college in Assam, Maharashtra, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Uttar Pradesh and Surat. It has 39 departments and 15 faculties. It also provided the distance education in various disciplines.

The University offers more than 250 courses from Diploma programs to PH.D programs in various disciplines such as Engineering, Mass Communication, Management, Arts, Science, Design, Education, Legal Studies, Commerce, Computer Application etc.

The offered courses by University are B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, M.tech in Electronics and telecommunication engineering, B.Ed, M.Ed, B.Com, BCA, BBA LLB, BA, B.Pharm, MA, B.Sc, M.Sc, BSW, BMS, B.Sc in Food Science and Nutrition and many more courses.

Admission to some courses will be done through entrance test conducted by SNDT Women's University, Mumbai.

As we know it is a State University, so the fee structure of University is less and affordable. It also provides the scholarship to meritorious and deserving students. The college fee includes the tuition fee, library fee, development fee, health fee and other charges. Hostel and mess fee is not included in the college fee.
