SRM University, formerly known as SRM Institute of Technology, located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It is a private University, established in the year 1985. It got the status of Deemed to be University by UGC in 2006. It is one of the largest Private Universities in India with the strength of over 38,000 students and more than 2600 faculty across all its 7 campuses in Country.
SRM University has seven campuses across the country namely Kattankulathur Campus (Main campus of SRM University), Vadapalani Campus, Ramapuram Campus, NCR Campus, Amravati Campus, Gangtok and Sonepat Campus.
The university has signed MOU’s with many foreign universities such as BIRMINGHAM City university, Flinders University, Lancaster University, University of Dayton, University of New Hampshire, The University of Western Australia, St. John Fisher college etc.

SRM University campus is one of the largest campuses in India. SRM University, Chennai Admission 2021

Admission to B.Tech course will be done through SRMJEEE, it’s online test. Students must have completed 10+2 with PCM subjects and secured minimum 60% marks from any recognized Board.
Students will be selected on the basis of their performance in SRMJEE followed by Counseling.
Direct Admission: Direct admission will be given to those students who got good rank in JEE mains or the top rankers of Tamil Nadu and sportspersons of the National and International level.
SRMJEEE Exam Pattern: It is a computer based online test, the duration of the test is 2.5 hours.
For Admission to MBBS and BDS course, students must have valid score in NEET (UG). Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in NEET (UG).
Admission to B.Pharm, students will be required to appear in SRMJEEEH conducted by SRM University.
Admission to BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA & LL.B programmes will be done on the basis of marks obtained in last qualifying examination.
For admission to BASLP, B.Optmo, B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic), B.Sc Medical Imaging Technology, B.Sc Renal Dialysis Technology and any other UG Medical Courses. Students have to appear in SRMJEEH (UG). Admission to such courses will be done on the basis of score obtained in SRMJEEH.
Admission to MA, M.Sc. M.Com & MCA courses in various specializations will be done through Entrance Test conducted by SRM University. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in SRM University Entrance Test.
Admission to MBA course, students must hold Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from recognized University. Students can take admission if they have valid score in any one of the Management Entrance Test namely CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT. Students can also appear for SRMJEEM (PG) to take admission in MBA course. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in SRMJEEM/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT.
To take admission to M.Tech course, students qualify in the SRMJEEE (PG) followed by Counseling. Students who have valid score in GATE or TANCET are also eligible to apply for this course.
Admission to MD, MS & MDS programs will be done only on the basis of score obtained in NEET (PG) followed by Counseling.
To get admission to M.Pharm, MPT, M.Sc Nursing and MOT, students will have to appear in SRMJEEH (PG) conducted by the SRM University. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in SRMJEEH.
Admission to M.Sc in Allied Health Sciences, MASLP, MHA Pharm.D (PB) will be done on the basis of marks obtained in last qualifying examination.
Admission to M.Sc in Biostatistics & Epidemiology & MPH courses will be done through Entrance Test followed by Interview and Analysis of academic credentials.
To take admission to Ph.D course, students have to appear in the Departmental Admission test and Interview conducted by SRM University.
Admission to M.Phil program will be done on the basis of SRMJEEH (PG) score.

SRM University, Chennai Admission 2021 Fee Structure

The Fee structure of SRM University is much high because it is one of top University of India.
The fee is little expensive but the world class facilities provided by the college are up to the mark and justify the cost.
Students can take the educational loan from Bank. Also, SRM provides the scholarships to many students on the basis of their academic performance and those students who score top in University Entrance Examination.
All the equipment in labs and other projects provided by the college is included in the college fees.
