Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE) is a Government aided Engineering College which is located in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. It has been established in the year 1957. The college is approved by AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.

TCE has been ranked 39 among Engineering College by NIRD in India in 2021 and 95 overall. It was also ranked 31 by Outlook India in 2021.

It imparts the technical education in the field of Engineering, Computer Application and Architecture. The offered courses are B.Tech in Information Technology, BE in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, B.Arch, ME in Power System Engineering, Infrastructure engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Power System Engineering etc, MCA, M.Tech and Ph.D.

TCE campus spread across 143 acres of green lush land. There is all world class infrastructural facilities are available. It has smart classroom, well stocked library with large no. of books, computer lab, internet connectivity, auditorium, seminar hall, conference hall, parking, safety and security, hostel facility, medical facility, Mess and Cafeteria, Sports and Games and others.

There are 280 faculty members who are highly qualified, dedicated and experienced in their departments. They give the better learning to students and make them professional in their respective chosen disciplines.

Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai Admission

Students can fill application form online or offline and pay the application form fee through available modes of payment. After the entrance exam, students will be called for the counseling round.

For admission to B.Tech or BE in various disciplines, students must have completed 10+2 in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects from recognized board. Admission will be done through TNEA counseling based on the performance in past academic qualification.

For B.Arch, must have done intermediate with PCM or Mathematics as main subject from recognized board. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in NATA.

Admission to M.Tech and ME, students must have completed B.Tech or BE in engineering discipline from recognized from recognized University. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in TANCET or GATE entrance examination.

To get admission to MCA course, students must have completed graduation in any discipline with Mathematics as main subject at 10+2 or graduation level from recognized University. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in TANCET conducted by Anna University.

Fee is quite affordable and less. The fee for management quota seats is little higher than those students who get admission through entrance exam.

B.Tech fee is Rs.70,000 p.a., BE Rs.70,000 p.a., B.Arch Rs.70,000 p.a., ME Rs.50,000 p.a. and MCA Rs.35,000 p.a.
