Vallabh Government College is located in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. It was started in the year 1948. The college is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla.

It provides the excellent education in the field of Science, Computer Application, Management, Teaching and Education, Humanities and Social Science, Retail management, Hospitality and Tourism, Commerce. The offered courses are B.Sc, B.Voc, B.Ed, BBA, B.Com, BCA, MA etc.

It has study centre of IGNOU which offers various academic & professional courses like BA, DTS, PGDRD, MA, MA Rural Development, BCA, BTS, MBA, B.Com, CIT, CFN and many more.

There are highly qualified and experienced faculty members in all departments.

It has well stocked good library with large no of books such as 38184 books, 7 Hindi Newspapers, 5 English Newspapers, 40 journals and magazines, Book Bank facility, well equipped labs and workshops, medical facility, sports facility, well equipped conference hall, Seminar Hall, Music room, Indoor and Outdoor games etc.

Admission to Undergraduate courses will be done through the entrance test conducted by Vallabh Government College followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

15% seats and 7.5 seats will be filled for the reserved category students i.e. SC/St category students.

The remaining 77.5% seats will be reserved for the students as filled as under 25% seats will be reserved for the students from any place and 75% seats are reserved for the Students belonging to Himachal Pradesh.

Admission to all the Post Graduate Courses and PG Diploma will be given on the basis of entrance test followed by Personal Interview.

85% seats will be filled for the students who belong to Himachal Pradesh. 15% seats will be reserved to the students from the rest of the states of the country.

The fee structure is very less and affordable being a Government college. The fee of every course is different and it changes every year. The fee for B.Sc course is Rs.3,027 p.a, B.Voc Rs.4407 p.a, B.Ed Rs.45755 p.a, BBA Rs.9633 p.a, B.Com Rs.2675 p.a, BCA Rs.12,633 p.a and the fee for other courses are also less.
