Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) is a State University which is located in Surat, Gujarat. It has been established in the year 1965. More than 282 colleges are affiliated to this University. It provides the education in various disciplines such as Management, Medical Science, Arts, Applied Science, Education, Rural Studies, Computer Science, Architecture, Legal Studies, Commerce Etc.
The campus of University is spread over an area of 810 acres of green lush land. Application form can be filled online on University official website.
For admission to MBBS must have valid score in NEET UG and for MD and MS courses, students must have valid score in NEET PG. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in NEET.
Admission to MBA will be done through Counseling based on the score obtained in CMAT.
Admission to BPT, B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic Nursing, B.Optom, students must have competed 10+2 in science stream. Students will have to appear in Entrance Test conducted by VNSGU.
Admission to BA, BSW, B.Ed, LLB, B.Com, BBA, BCA, BRS, B.Arch etc will be done on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination.
For admission to BFA, must have valid score in Fine Arts Entrance Test followed by an Interview.
Admission to Bachelor in Interior Design will be done on the basis of score obtained in Interior Design Entrance Test.
Admission to B.Lib.Sc will be done on the basis of score obtained in written test and oral test.
For admission to PG courses such as M.Opt, M.Sc, M.Sc nursing, MPT will be done on the basis of Entrance Test conducted by University.
Admission to MRS will be done on the basis of performance in the selection test conducted by University. Admission to other PG courses like MCA, M.Com, MA, M.Sc or other courses will be done on the basis of marks obtained in previous qualifying examination.
For M.Phil and Ph.D, students will have to appear in written test and viva voice conducted by VNSU.
